This recipe is prepared in a smoker. Cold smoking: 1 hour
Preheat the smoker according to the manufacturer's instructions, until a temperature of 107°C (225°F) is reached. Add selected wood to smoker.
Fold back the leaves of the corn cobs, removing some of the outer leaves.
In a bowl, mix olive oil with onion powder, paprika, brown sugar, chili powder, salt and lime juice.
Brush olive oil mixture over corn on the cob. Fold leaves over cobs.
Place corn on the hot grill of the smoker. Smoke for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, until corn is tender.
For even more flavor, garnish your corn with lime zest before serving!
